Winner, winner, chicken dinner!

The girls over at http://iloveboyswhosparkle.com/ recently ran a Haiku Contest and I actually won one of the prize packages. I got a movie cover version of The Twilight Saga New Moon book, a Twilight bandana (which I'm thinking will look good on my dog, Maddux!), a Twilight patch, a Twilight key chain, and my favorite item – a tube of lip gloss called Twilight Venom. It tastes like bubble gum and when you shake it up, it looks like a vile of blood. Too fun! And anyone who knows me well knows that I don't go anywhere without some lipstick, lip gloss, or lip balm.

Love the Thank You card, too.
Thanks again, Just Erin & Team Six Pack!

CROSSING MYSELF!

Thank you, God, for the man that is Robert Pattinson. Thank you Vanity Fair for the cover photo. Amen.

Magic Man

by Heart (partial lyrics)

Try, try, try to understand....I'm a magic man.

Winter nights we sang in tune
Played inside the months of moon
Never think of never..let this spell last forever.

Trust me, we understand....you are the magic man.  And if the low-res images making the rounds are any indication of what we can expect from Vanity Fair's December issue, the spell isn't going to be reversed any time soon.

Twitarded and me?

Hell ya!  If you've read my profile or live/work within shouting distance of me, you know that my favorite blog is Twitarded and the rulers of Twitardom are STY and JJ.  I  used to check their blog every morning when I got up, first thing after supper in the evening, and the last thing before I went to bed at night.  Now I just leave the damn thing running all day and hit refresh.  So I SQUEED (yes, they taught me that word) like a fangirl when I read their latest post this morning.  I'm not going to tell you where the shout out is at in the post.  You are going to have to head on over to their blog and read it for yourself.  And if you aren't following them already, what are you waiting for?!

Happy Friday!

It's La Push, baby!

Tinsel Korey, who plays Emily Young in New Moon, spent time in Forks, Washington, and on the actual Quileute reservation at La Push.  While there, she did some acting workshops with the youth and performed Rob's Never Think for a small group.

Kiss Scene UPDATE

As anticipated, the video has been removed across YouTube.  Bummer!  I am always left wondering how these things get out there in the first place.  A Summit tease?  Hmmmmm.  Well, it was good while it lasted.

UPDATE:  There is a small, embedded version of the clip over at ROBsessed if you still want to check it out.  Don't forget to turn up the volume and listen with your headsets ;)

Six Degrees of Rob

Rob was once quoted as saying he'd love to tour with Kings of Leon.  He was infamously spotted at a Kings of Leon concert with Kristen (and other cast members).  Kings of Leon performed at last year's MTV awards.  Rob was at the MTV awards.  So I feel confident that this can be considered Robworthy news and encourage you to include this band in your list of things you should check out.  I, for one, fell in love with the band (and cutie Caleb Followill) BEFORE I knew that Rob liked them.  Don't roll your eyes.  I really did!

Nobody rocks Rob like petitbiel!

I only have one video subscription on YouTube and it's to petitbiel's videos.  Here are a few of my favorites to get you started, but do yourself a favor and check them all out (http://www.youtube.com/user/petitbiel)!  Thanks, Biel, for giving me permission to upload these.  I can't wait for new videos.  The media blitz is just around the corner!

Voices of Rob

NM Birthday Kiss

Things are heating up!

My DVR's already set to record this show (shocker, I know!), but I'm more anxious to just see them introduce the clip :)  Not sure what the clip will be, so be careful if you don't want to watch the breakup scene if that's what it ends up being.

Take me to your leader.

I drove to Peoria Saturday night with a neighbor/friend and her friend for a meet and greet with the ablicious Kellan Lutz (Emmett Cullen, but you should know that already, girls!).  Before we left the Quad Cities, I called the Peoria Civic Center's box office to see about getting tickets so that we could pick them up at Will Call just to be on the safe side.  The promotion was part of the opening night of hockey for the Peoria Rivermen.  The conversation went something like this:

  • Me - I'd like to get tickets for the game tonight so that we can pick them up at Will Call.
  • Rep - We have lots of tickets left.  You'd be better off just buying them when you got here so that you don't have to pay Ticketmaster's handling fee.
  • Me - Thanks!  I appreciate that.
  • Rep - Are you coming to see that guy?
  • Me - (Chuckle.)  Yes.
  • Rep - Did you know that the original guy cancelled and now it's someone else?
  • Me - (Gasp!)  What??  Who is it?!  (Please don't let it be Mike Welch.  Please don't let it be Mike Welch.  Please tell me you know that's Mike Newton.)
  • Rep - The promotor called late yesterday and said that because he was still filming, he would have to cancel.  So they scrambled to get someone else to fill in.  I think it's the leader of the wolfpack?
  • Me - (Deep breath.  Exhale.)  Do you mean Chaske . . .
  • Rep - Yes.  Chaske Spencer.  That's who it is.
  • Me - (Okay.  Not bad.  Not bad.)  Well, thanks for letting me know.  I'll have to see what my friends think.
  • Rep - On the bright side, they are still going to try and get the original guy here for an appearance later in the season.  So if you hold on to your ticket stub, you can bring it in to the box office and exchange it for that night's event.  So really, you get two for the price of one.
  • Me - (Now we're getting somewhere!).  Sounds good.  Thanks for your help.
Well, we all decided what the heck and went ahead with our road trip.  WE HAD A BLAST!  Chaske Spencer is WAY better looking in person.

Apparently he's not maintaining
the werewolf body temp ;)

Love this scene!

Be sure and turn up the volume so you don't miss him saying, "Hmmmmm."  From all of the video I've seen from New Moon (and you know I've seen too much!), Rob is definitely more comfortable with the role this time around.

Hello!

Pocket Edward says hello, too ;)

Well, girls, I said I'd do this, so here goes nothing . . . or everything.  I will use this blog to keep you updated on Robworthy news.  If you're reading this, then you've been diagnosed with Robsanity, too.  Welcome!
