I need a cigarette.

I used to smoke years ago. I wasn't addicted. I just plain enjoyed it. Now I only smoke when I drink. Up until Drunk Mad Libs at Twilight SagaPalooza on Friday nights (tomorrow night, people!), that was four, maybe five, times a year. Honest. The older I get, the harder it is to recover. I am sure Mrs. P at TwiBite and especially JJ at Twitarded will have a different spin on today's Bel Ami photos, but here's mine. I'm all about the pretty pictures ;)

I always knew he'd rock the period piece look hard.

I just didn't know how hard he'd rock me while in it.

Wet Wednesday

Today, I am going to avoid posting the obvious Wet Rob movie still from Remember Me. Most of us have seen it already anyway, but if you haven't...or if you want to see it again...I am going to direct you to Thinking of Rob because there are lots more movie stills there, too. Enjoy!

UPDATE: This is what happens when I try and be good and avoid what's happened out in the bloggy world from the time I leave work until the time I post. Now HG has informed me that the video clip of the shower scene has been released. BRB...

Okay. Clearly, I am in too far in with Remember Me, but that was a conscious decision on my part. I even read the script. I want to be prepared. I hope to remain fairly Twipure for Eclipse, watching just the official videos released by Summit. I don't think I'm even going to read the book. LOL! At any rate, I felt like I had seen all of the key parts for New Moon before I ever set foot in the theater. I want a different experience this time around. I just hope my kung fu is strong enough to get me through it :)

So I'm going to dedicate today's post to Smexy Mexi Rob, instead. He ranks right up there with Rome Rob for me – perfect jawporn, perfect scruff, perfect sexhair – not to mention the infamous sexpenders.

I'd never seen this video before. Of course, I missed the Twilight press junket (other than his appearance on Ellen because I record it every day) because I didn't go in to my Rob coma until after the movie was released. He looks and sounds gorgeous in it, and it's very candid. I love how he says he never watches his own movies and when they ask him why, he says because it would make him throw up. I. LOVE. HIM.

And this may be the sweetest minute and a half

I've ever spent with Rob to date.

More Twiobservations on a Tainted Tuesday

In December, I went to a Christmas program and posted about my Twiobservations. Like most people, I suspect that is an every day occurrence. However, these past few weeks have been full of them for me.

The most recent link to Twilight happened on my drive home from work tonight. I was literally five minutes from home. Five more minutes and I wouldn't have been reminded of mmMoxie's favorite word for Drunk Mad Libs on Friday nights at Twilight SagaPalooza. Five more minutes, and I wouldn't have been reminded of the new phrase given to my beloved Robsten by mmMoxie, Mrs. P, Poptarrt, and Stoney. Five more minutes and we wouldn't have had tonight's . . .

Shortly after the Haiti telethon, I saw a new billboard sign and my mind processed "This Beard's For You" due, I'm sure, to the debate over the full beard Rob was sporting when he finally came out of hibernation.

What it actually said was "This Board's For You" because they were looking for advertisers.

Then I was at church and the bulletin was touting the S.P.L.A.S.H. program. The header was correct, but in the next paragraph, they referred to it as . . . you guessed it . . . S.L.A.S.H. Not that I know what that means ; )

Then I was listening to one of my favorite CDs by the band Matchbox Twenty and it dawned on me that the lead singer and our boy have something in common.

I went to a Super Bowl party on Sunday hosted by my oldest niece and her new husband. Naturally, half the fun of Super Bowl Sunday is watching the multi-million dollar commercials. I got a few laughs and a LOT of eye rolls when I could link all of the following back to Twilight.

Then there was this commercial featuring a singer who shall not be named, who was also front and center in Mrs. P's YouTube Video Contest. The voting has ended, and the lucky winner will be announced on her TwiBite blog on February 10th. Posting this is a true testament of how much I value being her Super Bloggy BFF.

There was a Showtime commercial for Nurse Jackie, a show that features our very own Peter Facinelli.

Not only do I need to order Showtime, I need to order this movie on Netflix.

This last Twiobservation also happened on my drive home from work tonight while I was thinking about putting this post together. I was flipping channels and a news report about Kingsway Cathedral in Des Moines, Iowa, came on. The roads were bad, and I had to keep both hands on the wheel at the time, or I would have missed it. What caught my attention you ask? The building is 108 years old and was just named to the historical registry, saving it from demolition – the same age as someone else we've all come to know and love. (Click to enlarge.)

I heard this on the radio the other day and immediately thought of Rob. Does anyone else listen to music now and wonder if the lyrics could be set to a video featuring Rob? If only I knew how to make videos. I think this would be a great song to set one to, especially with black and white images. (hint, hint, Honolulu Girl)

And I reached my goal last week of skipping a day to post so that I could work on submissions for Jeanette's PicSpam post. While I can't begin to compete with the other talented gals who contribute regularly, it's a start. The previous week's theme was Little Red Corvette (my #1 favorite song), which I missed and is what prompted me to set a goal in the first place. This week's theme was Dreams, set to the song Everything by Michelle Branch. My first submission uses lyrics from that song. My second submission is a quote from the Twilight Saga. My third submission, as you can tell, combines the Little Red Corvette theme with the Dreams theme. (Click to enlarge.)

Twitter Jail

Wow. Another weekend gone. This one really got away from me, too. Friday night, as usual was dedicated to Drunk Mad Libs over at Twilight SagaPalooza. It has turned in to the place to be on Friday nights. Thanks again, mmMoxie, for hosting.

Speaking of mmMoxie, Saturday night I had a surprise 40th birthday party to go to with my husband for his cousin's husband. Stayed too late and drank too much, but it was a fun group. I even met a mutual friend of theirs who I swear reminded me of mmMoxie. I had had just enough to drink to ask my husband's cousin to take a picture of me with "Mox," and "Mox" had had just enough to drink to have her picture taken with a complete stranger. The real Mox says she can't wait to see the resemblance that I saw through my beer goggles, as she put it. LMAO! Pretty sure I had my picture taken with some cute guys, too, but that's another story ; )

Today was Super Bowl Sunday, and my oldest niece and her new husband had all of us over to play board games, eat too much, and watch the game. She is a die-hard Peyton Manning/Colts fan, so the day didn't go quite how she planned.

So here I sit. It's late, I'm tired, and I'm struggling to get a post together before it's actually Monday instead of Sunday. LOL! This is usually my Shout Out Sunday post, but in looking back through the week of posts, I was struck by how much repeat information was out there, and I figure you've already seen most, if not all, of it. There were lots of posts about new movie stills from Remember Me, the new teaser pic of Rob's upcoming photoshoot in Details magazine, the 4th installment of the Facebook Remember Me Q&A, the start of filming for Bel Ami, fanfic recs, etc. There are new posts for today that are unique, but I haven't had a chance to read them yet. Given the gals who posted them, I am sure they are epic.

So I am going to tip my hat to everyone for keeping the Twi/Rob love alive this week and ask you to PLEASE look over on the rh sidebar and look at my blog roll. I puffy heart everyone on that list. While I was in twitter jail, Mrs. P decided to torture me. She had everyone "wave hello" to me and then announced it would be the perfect time to make fun of my love of Robsten. If it wasn't for Dangrdafne coming to my rescue via Gmail chat, I would have been defenseless. The only other bloggy bestie that sided with me was Jen at Twired. To Dangrdafne and Jen, a big fat MWAH! To Mrs. P and Mox, I direct your attention to the new addition to my sidebar just below the Faces of Rob feature.
