I have literally sat and stared at my Blogger screen for longer than I care to admit. I have been trying to think of a way to pay tribute to two events that share this anniversary date. I didn't want anyone to think I had cheapened the memory of one by honoring the other. I Googled images. I read tributes. I stared some more. In the end, I decided to keep it simple.

Well done, Lisa. I think this post is perfect.
I am actually grateful that we have something happy to celebrate on this day.

Dammit blogger lost my comment. In essence - perfectly said Lisa. Thank you my dear for the wonderful shout. Your graphic is awesome and I love the 50 pics you included with matching avi. It is so 50 and you even held back from including Bella :)
I will never forget the tragic events of September 11th, and I will always remember that September 11th was the first time I ever saw the video by Biel. Fifty puts me in my happy place.
Lovely post, Lisa. The whole world remembers with America.
And Fifty, well, you know how I feel about him ;)
I've got to read MoTU!
It's nice that you have something good to think of on a day like 9-11.
Lovely tribute. I'll always remember.

@Trixie and Tess - If you don't read MotU, Lisa will kick you off her blog. Believe me, it's worth it. MotU owns me.
You mastered this post!
Why were you worried? ;)
Thanks, girls, for the lovely comments.
@Tess - Z Any Mouse is right. You'd better get to reading MotU and then give us an update!!
@TongueTwied - I was worried until someone gave me some very good advice about keeping it simple. Thanks again, kiTT. XO
