*BLEEP*

Taycob can talk smack all he wants,
but Robward's the only one I want to *bleep*.

It's Friday night. I've had a little *coughalotcough* of box wine. Drunk Mad Libs at Twilight SagaPalooza is over, twitter is c-r-a-a-a-a-z-y, as usual, and I can't stop thinking about this video. One of my bloggy besties, Musing Bella at Cheaper Than Therapy, posted this on her blog earlier in the week. It's just too funny not to repost, and she's too funny not to follow. Enjoy and happy *bleeping* Friday!

You Are the Only Exception

Paramore will be playing at the iWireless Center in Moline, Illinois, on May 7th, which is only 30 minutes from my house. Unfortunately, that is also opening day for Travis's conference baseball tournament. I would have loved to have seen them in concert singing Decode and I Caught Myself from the Twilight Soundtrack. I also would have loved to hear this song.

Some people count the days during a Rob Drought and wonder when they will see him again. Don't get me wrong, I look forward to seeing him again, too. But I look at this time as days he can relax and spend time with friends, family, and *fingers crossed* Kristen. Until they prove me wrong, I still give a crapsten. LOL!

On a side note, I want to say thank you to a few of my bloggy besties.

Amy at MissAmyJoon recently sent me a box of New Moon Sweethearts featuring Edward. I have the Twilight version, so it's is a nice addition to my collection. A while back, she made me a custom wallpaper which I still have on my home computer screen. I can't bring myself to replace it : ) And now I have a matching resized version for my cell phone. Love the design and the designer!!

The whole cell phone screensaver conversation came up when twilightcupcake asked Amy to do some wallpapers for the iPhone. If you click on the Twi-Mobile link in my rh sidebar, it will take you to the site where you can read all about how TC is helping make us mobile and dressing up our accessories :) Contact her if you are interested in making your blog mobile, too. It's great having my favorite blogs bookmarked on my phone for easy access in the Twi-Mobile format. They load so much faster. Be sure and check out her other blog, Twilight, Travel, and Treats, too.

So a BIG thank you to Amy and TC for spoiling me rotten. I love you both long time ;)

Sexpenders and Sex Boots *sigh*

The myspace artist on artist video Rob and Hayley did while promoting Twilight can be found "here."

Another bloggy bestie, TongueTwied, did a post last week relating this interview to the Twilight DVD commentary. Pretty interesting! Check it out here.

And I can't do a Robsten-flavored post without giving a shout out to my fellow Robsten lover Jen at Twired. She recently recorded her very first video, and you can see and hear the real Jen here.

Three in a Bed

Well, not these three ;)

Three in a Bed is actually a term used in darts. Who knew dart terms were so suggestive?

Bag O' Nuts - Scoring forty-five points in a throw
Bed - A section of a number
Diddle for the Middle - Throwing at the bull's-eye to see which player will throw first
Dirty Darts - Derogatory slang for questionable tactics (like scoring excessive points in Cricket)
Double Bull/Cork - The inner portion of the bull's-eye
Double In - Hitting the double area of a number to start a game of '01
Double Out - Hitting the double of a number to win a game of '01
Double Top - The double 20
Sevens - Slang for the 17s in Cricket (not dirty; just like the number, natch)
Shaft - The portion of the dart that holds the flight
Single In - Starting a game of '01 without having to hit a double first
Single Out - Ending a game of '01 without having to hit a double
Straight On - Starting a game of '01 without having to hit a double
Three in a Bed - Throwing all three darts in the same number

I'm sure you're asking wtf darts has to do with Rob. Well, as you know, there's not much these days that I can't link back to Rob. When I got home on Thursday and turned on the TV so I could set my DVR to record Oprah on Friday, the 2010 World Championship of Darts was on. Something immediately caught my eye. You only have to watch the first 10 seconds.

I spy Unicorn. I spy Eclipse. I spy Unicorn England. I spy Whitlock.

So I Googled Unicorn England and found this.

Origins of "The lion and the unicorn" in British history

The Lion and the Unicorn lyrics date from 1603 when King James VI of Scotland became James I of England unifying the Scottish and English kingdoms. The 'Virgin Queen' Elizabeth 1 named the son of Mary Queen of Scots, James, as her heir. The union of the two countries required a new royal coat of arms combining those of England which featured two lions, and Scotland whose coat of arms featured two Unicorns hence "The lion and the unicorn". A compromise was made thus the British coat of arms has one Lion and one Unicorn and the poem about hence "The Lion and the Unicorn" was created.

The picture depicts the Lion (with the crown) and the Unicorn Coat of Arms. The centre of the Arms depicts the lions of England in the first and fourth quarters, the lion of Scotland in the second and the Harp of Ireland in the third quarter. The motto around the centre means: "Evil to him who evil thinks" which relates to the Order of the Garter. The motto at the bottom means: "God and my Right "

The Lion and the Unicorn poem

The lion and the unicorn were fighting for the crown
The lion beat the unicorn all around the town.
Some gave them white bread, and some gave them brown;
Some gave them plum cake and drummed them out of town.

Somehow, "And the lion fell in love with the unicorn" just doesn't sound right. Or does it?

Rite of Passage

Wallpaper created by MissAmyJoon for her bloggy bestie Sparkle for Twilight

Music to scroll by
(Love this live version he sings with his sister.)

I'm not sure if you noticed or not, but 17 is my favorite number. It has been since I was in Junior High. I really don't remember why exactly, but it may have had something to do with the fact that I knew I would graduate and be "free" of school when I was 17.

So when I got an email alert (source) stating that Twilight's prom scene was recently chosen as one of Seventeen magazine's "17 Best Prom Scenes of All Time," it caught my eye. Not to mention the fact that Kristen Stewart was 17 when filming began on Twilight.

Excerpt from article:

"Bella isn't like other girls – she falls in love with Edward, a vegetarian vampire, and she could care less about going to prom. She has other things to worry about, like falling prey to the evil vampires. But Edward won't let her miss this human rite of passage, so he takes her to prom, where they dance the night away in a beautiful gazebo."

Also making Seventeen's cut are scenes from Prom Night, High School Musical 3, Never Been Kissed, Saved By The Bell, 10 Things I Hate About You, Dawson's Creek, Drive Me Crazy, Romy And Michele's High School Reunion, Footloose, Carrie, Mean Girls, Pretty In Pink, and others.

I don't know about you, but the roles were reversed for me. I had to drag my boyfriend to my senior prom. Pretty sure I used the rite of passage argument with him. Of course, that rite of passage may have included some country back roads and refreshments. Just sayin'. Apparently, I showed him he had a good time because five months later, he married me :)

Sparkle for Twilight did a post back in March dedicated to Twinkly Lights, Gazebos, and Foot-Popping Kisses. It sums up the charm of the Twilight prom scene better than I ever could. She also created these beautiful wallpapers for the post.

If you're like me, all of this has you in the mood to watch the prom scene again, too.

And I'll never forget the blooper video of Rob for a Q and A with Seventeen magazine. I just had to dig it up and include it with this post. It still makes me smile. (Bonus: Adorkable Beanie Rob)

And what's a prom post without a trip down memory lane? The year was 1980 – one year after I had a horrific experience with a home perm gone bad (picture NOT included), and my hair was finally growing out. Dave had a full head of hair. I was thin. We were engaged and planning our wedding for that fall. Damn life was good at 17!

Before Prom

After Prom

Just sayin'.

A postcard came in the mail last week announcing the details of my upcoming 30 year class reunion. Um. Ya. I'm that old – too old for blogging and too old to have been diagnosed with Robsanity, yet here I am. My tagline reads "growing up is overrated" for a reason. LOL! So...

1. Where were you in 1980?
2. Did you go to your senior prom?
3. Any good prom stories?
4. Any good prom pics?
5. Anything special happen to you when you were 17?

Talk to me. And if you have prom pics you'd like to share, email me at lisa1721@gmail.com. I promise not to laugh and/or share them in a follow-up post *wink, wink*.

In another Twilight (Zone) moment, one of my bloggy besties, Jen at Twired, was talking to me on Gmail chat last night and told me her new post was up and ready for me to read on her blog. Imagine my surprise when I checked it out. To see why, click here.

New Moon XXX

Oh, shit. There's a sex tape?

Where's that bitch-on-wheels publicist when I need her?

What's that? It's a legit porn film? Whew!

So last night I looked on my DVR to see if anything new had recorded. I don't know about the rest of you, but I have mine set to record anything with the key words Pattinson, Rob Pattinson, Robert Pattinson, Twilight, Twilight Saga, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner, Peter Facinelli, Billy Burke, Jackson Rathbone, and Kellan Lutz. So I got excited when I saw that one of my key word categories had recorded something. I clicked to open the link and found this description:

This Isn't Twilight Saga: New Moon XXX
A sexy spoof of "The Twilight Saga: New Moon"
features a horny gal and other wild creatures

Of course, there was also a $ next to it because it was a pay-per-view item that expires in a couple of days. I don't know why this surprised me, but it did. I quickly deleted it because as supportive as my hubby has been about all of this, if he had found it first, I don't think he would have believed me when I said I had no idea it even existed.

So, like everything else, I Googled it and found this cover art and synopsis:

Devil's Film has been quick at getting its fangs into the Twilight franchise,
and will release its New Moon parody sequel in the new year (January 7, 2010),
with Chris Johnson again filling in for Robert Pattinson as Edward Cullen,
and Seth Gamble as a pornified version of Taylor Lautner in the role of Jacob Black.
The full-length feature film, directed by Sammy Slater, also stars Madison James,
Amy Brooke, Ruby Know, Ami Emerson, Jay Lasseter, and Alex Gonz.

On a side note, the image abbreviation is TITTSNMTXXXP-Front_Censored. How appropriate. However, I think Jacob's "titts" are bigger than Bella's in the promo pic. Just sayin'.

So if I read the synopsis correctly, there was a Twilight XXX, too. Who knew? And from that promo pic, I don't think Edward would fill the sheets shoes of any of our fanfic Edwards, either.

I'll leave you with that thought and a few more Twiobservations I had this weekend while listening to the radio on my trips back and forth to my son's baseball games.

Neil Diamond Cracklin’ Rosie

Cracklin' Rosie, get on board
We're gonna ride till there ain't no more to go
Taking it slow
Lord, don't you know
Have me a time with a poor man's lady
Hitchin' on a twilight train...

Stevie Wonder You Are The Sunshine Of My Life

You are the sunshine of my life
That's why I'll always be around,
You are the apple of my eye,
Forever you'll stay in my heart ...

Kenny Loggins Danger Zone
Songwriters: Loggins, Kenny; Moroder, Giorgio; Whitlock, Tom

Heading into twilight - spreading out her wings tonight...

"Should we give them familiar and comforting?
Or educate their taste in music?"
[Alice, Eclipse, chapter 17: Alliance, page 366]

And this is just because I hope they're making beautiful music together ; )

Twiobservations in the Land of Cheese

Over the weekend, my husband and I drove to Wisconsin to watch Travis and his college baseball team play three games. It was a beautiful drive and great weather for the games. As is always the case, I can't shut off my Twi-filtered brain, especially while my husband is driving. Of course I took notes during the trip. My husband asked me at one point what I was writing and I asked him if he really wanted to know, which was met with a never mind.

It started when we got out of our local radio station's range. I was surfing stations when Tom Petty's Free Falling came on. Normally, that wouldn't mean anything other than a classic song. But a Follower that I recently had a conversation with in a comment thread over at Twitarded emailed me about how she tied this song into a presentation she was giving for a convention. Without going into all the details, she timed a slide of Robward walking to these words in the song, "All the vampires, walk through the valley, move west down Ventura Blvd." Ironically enough, it also played once between innings at one of the games.

After smiling and writing that down on my notepad, I looked at the radio station's call letters. They were WMOI. This made me think of the smexy voice of Moi on the Twigasm podcasts.

Next I spotted a license plate that said JAG XXX (leaving out the numbers to protect the unsuspecting). How could I not think of JAG (aka Just a Girl) who contributes to these awesome blogs: Random Acts of Rob, Bel Ami, and Water for Elephants.

Fleming Road: Ian Fleming + James Bond Books + Pierce Brosnan + Rob = Remember Me

Soldier's Grove: Soldiers + Army + Newborn Vampires = Eclipse

Sime Furniture Store: Blue Cartoon Wh*le Logo + My Phobia + Mrs. P at TwiBite + Twired Jen at Twired = Mean Girls

Hellwig Street: Jasper + Rosalie + Esme + Bella = Twilight Saga Wigs

The sign for Frieman's Hobbit Travel reminded me of the nickname Nibbles at Twi-sted Edbrella has for her boss.

A restaurant sign stating "Serving Mahi Mahi" had me thinking of the gorgeous Honolulu Girl at True Blood Twilight

There was a restaurant near our hotel called Grizzly's. What Twitard wouldn't think of Emmett/Kellan?!

Just before our turnoff to the ballpark, there were storage units. The name on the sign? Edward's Mini Storage. That made me wish I had brought Pocket Edward along for the trip for a photo op : (

At the game on Sunday, my husband's canvas lawn chair came apart. He said he was just going to throw the chair away but wondered what we could do with the bag used to carry it in. He said, and I quote, "The only thing it would be good for is a condom for an elephant." Rob's Details interview anyone and/or upcoming movie Water for Elephants? Um. Yeah.

DISCLAIMER: When I told Mrs. P about the following story, she reminded me that mmMoxie has a phobia of her own that involves cranes, and we're not talking those of the feather variety. So, Mox, if you're reading this, close your eyes and scroll down. (I guess Mrs. P likes you better than me. Just sayin'. LOL!) XXXOOO

The biggest slice of Twiobservation in the Land of Cheese came while we were driving around Sunday morning killing time before the game. My husband says, "There's a name I recognize." "What name?" I ask. He points and tells me to look up and to the left through the front windshield. I gasped out loud. He said, "I suppose you want me to pull over so you can take some pictures." I couldn't quit grinning (a) because of what I saw, (b) because he saw it first and actually pointed it out to me, and (c) that he was willing to pull over so I could take some pictures. He really does love me : )

The construction company J. P. Cullen & Sons was working on a new building for the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse. I'm sure the J. P. stands for Jasper Pants, right Mrs. P? LOL!

And just in case I put anyone else to sleep besides Rob with my long post, here's something that might wake you up. Biel has uploaded the last video for her 100% Robert Pattinson Content: Pure Unadulterated Sexy Bliss series. Check out all of her awesome videos here.

And before I forget, Dangrdafne and Living with Edward are bloggy besties of mine who have discovered that they live close enough to get together for Eclipse and are looking for other Twitards in the PA area who would like to join them. Check out their blogs for details, and don't forget to sign up to follow while you're there! You can also find them on my blog roll.
