Rob's got some balls.

You want to play with my balls?
Well, since you asked . . .

SCORE!
Twilight Baseball Scene
AND Music to Scroll By
(still the ring tone on my cell phone btw)

I used to play softball "back in the day," and coached/managed my daughter's ASA travel softball team for years. If I were to manage a bloggy softball team, I'd order this for our team jersey.

Of course, I'd have to special order this for Mrs. P.

I think Rob approves, Mrs. P ; )

As Alice would say, "It's time." It's time for me to watch some real baseball. As most of you know, my son, Travis, is a senior and this is his last year of college baseball. So this will also be our last spring training trip with him. *tear* We will follow him and his team through Missouri, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Arkansas. His freshman and sophomore years, we followed him to Arizona. Last year it was through Kansas, Oklahoma, and Texas. Needless to say, we've been blessed to take this journey with him. My parents have traveled all four years with him, too. This year, my husband's parents are joining us. Travis will be well represented. Unfortunately, my daughter can't take that much time off of work, which is the only thing that would make it complete.

Last weekend when we went to the games in Kentucky, we were staying in a dry county (!); I had no access to blogs due to the hotel's parental block guidelines; and my iPod Touch lost its charge. I'm more prepared for this trip.

I have Stan at Twi-sted Edbrella emailing me the FFF Questions; I have my box wine packed for the next two Friday Night Drunk Mad Libs at Twilight SagaPalooza; I have some ff loaded on my iPod Touch thanks to Twilight Cupcake at Twilight, Travel, and Treats; and I bought a car charger and a wall charger to keep my iPod Touch charged so that I can follow my favorite blogs. If all else fails, Mrs. P at TwiBite has my cell phone number. You will call me if something big happens, like Rob and Kristen announcing their engagement, right? Right?! Maybe I need to email my number to Jen at So Twired just to be safe.

I also want to welcome one of my bloggy besties, Dangrdafne, to the Playground. Check out her new blog Dangrdafne Days of Delirium.

Note: While I'm gone, my blog will be "under construction." My blog designer, Dana at Lily Bean Designs, will be giving it a new look. Can't wait!

So I leave you with these gorgeous pieces of Robart from Mrs.ECullen. She has been spoiling me rotten and sending me these via email. I just have to share. Thanks again, Eva!!

Yes, Lisa's taking me with on the trip.
I just found out I'm going to have
some company for my photo ops.

So until we meet again . . .

Be safe!

Your kids are so lucky to have such a support system! I never played any sports. P.E. was the bane of my existence. I wasn't in any clubs, although I wish there was a debate club at my school. Anyway, have lots of fun Lisa! We'll all be waiting for you when you get back!

Have a great trip, Lisa! It sounds like you've covered all the bases, so to speak, haha!!

@E - Thanks! I hope he kicks ass, too. I hope to be doing a little bragging while I'm blogging during the week ;)

@Mrs. P - I was LMAO at the high-tops with heels on them. You know we'd have to dress you in some type of kick-ass boots. Pocket Edward is so excited that he won't be traveling alone. This is going to be fun. XXXOOO

@Amy - Thanks! As you and I have talked, my kids are my life. Thanks for letting me "adopt" you in the bloggy world :)

@musingbella - Love your comment. *BIG smile*

@Twilove1 - I was too keyed up to sleep anyway, so I thought I'd do one last post before my vacation :) You know that's always the way when you know you need to get up early. Thanks again for all your support. You know I heart you, too, and will be in touch via email.

@HG - I try to be. Our parents were always there for us, so my husband and I know how important it is to be there for ours. They really do appreciate it and don't take it for granted. Hopefully, I don't embarrass my family too much with my PE and Mrs. P photo shoots. LOL!! I'm so glad you mentioned the manips. Eva was so sweet to send them to me. I'm glad to be able to share them with all of you. Mwah!!!

Hi Lisa,

What an awesome mom you are! I am trying to pack too and staying with my parents for 2 wks. I'm hoping they still don't know I have a blog so how can I keep up? I'll have to be stealth :) Welcome back.

Enjoy your travels. Sounds like you are well prepared. Just to let you know the dry countys are mainly in the mountains where moonshiners don't like the competition. We actually had a dry casino in my neck of the woods.

Have fun on the trip. You may be happy to know that there will be no DML on March 12. The Mafia are going to see REMEMBER ME! You better find time to work that film into your busy schedule! We will need to discuss the fight/arrest scene IN DETAIL!

Have a great trip Lisa, you're such a cool Mom! And, I LOVE that you're taking your boxed wine with ya! Oh, and you know you can count on me to EMAIL YOU PRONTO if Robsten announces an engagement, a love-child, or if they're caught humping in an airport somewhere!
Stay safe and all the luck in the world to your sons team!

XOXO Jen

Wow, you have a fun spring ahead of you. Enjoy it! Just a warning though, when you are at the baseball games and the sun is out, don't get confused and tell the umpire that they need to wait for the thunder. That's only vampire baseball, ok. And not just vampire baseball, but super hot Cullen version of baseball. :) And yes, Be Safe....
