Team Twitarded

My Team Twitarded pin and thank-you note, signed by none other than Snarkier Than You, was in my mailbox when I got home from work yesterday afternoon. I'm not sure who was more excited, me or Pocket Edward :) He even had to break out the Pocket tissues we were taking with us to see New Moon. (Click to enlarge pictures.)

The pin and thank-you note were sent in honor of my donation to Alex's Lemonade Stand on behalf of Twitarded. All kidding aside, this is a wonderful charity that is "Fighting Childhood Cancer One Cup at a Time." Visit Alex’s Lemonade Stand to learn how you can help, too.

In: Vanity Fair / Out: People

People magazine, in all its wisdom, did not name Robert Pattinson the Sexiest Man Alive this year. Even dumber? They didn't even put him in their top 10! Vanity Fair, on the other hand, has released Part Three of the outtakes from Bruce Weber's portraits. Sexiest man alive? Hell yeah!

Really, People magazine? Really?!!!

LA Red Carpet Premiere

Watched the entire event streamed live from MySpace.com. The co-hosts were annoying as hell, especially Anya, but it was cool to get a glimpse into the insanity surrounding Rob.  (What?  There were other people there?  Who knew?!)  Rob looked AMAZING!  I'm so jealous that the girls over at ROBsessed were close enough to get these pics.

*BIG SIGH*

All hail the rulers of Twitardia!

If you've read my "About Me," you know that my blog heroes are JJ (Jenny) & STY (Debbie) over at Twitarded. They make having this Robsession at the age of 47 (ouch!) less painful. The Twitard followers have become my online family. Their site continues to grow by leaps and bounds, and they are even featured in a CNN online article than ran today. Very cool!

Have you "scene it" yet?

In preparation for New Moon, a few friends/co-workers got together after work one night last week to watch Twilight and then play my new Twilight Scene It? DVD game.  It's hard to find a night that works for everyone, but the four of us who were able to make it had a blast.  The game was over quickly because someone made like Edward and outran the competition (not naming real names here; may have been sprtzmom1721, though), so we played it again.  This time I let someone else win.  You can thank me now, Karen.  I kid.  I kid!

Just like every other Scene It? game I own, you end up just wanting to answer questions to the DVD clips, so we did a few rounds of that.  We eventually found out that we were WAY over-analyzing the DVD challenges. The losers bailed soon after, so Karen and I then played a few rounds of the picture puzzles, which were pretty fun.

The best feature of the game (besides clips with Robward in them) is the narration by Dr. Cullen (aka Peter Facinelli), especially on the picture puzzles.  Whenever Karen guessed wrong, which was often (lol!), he would politely, and with a very subtle chuckle, say, "No, it doesn't go there."  I think the good doctor needs to make a house call and tell us exactly where it does go.  Just sayin'!

Super Massive Black Hole

The painful separation is almost over (for all of us)!

She's coming for you, Edward! *wink*

Reunited, and it feels so good.

Thanks again to petitbiel for the great video!

This one's for you, Stan ;)

I had an email from ebay today advertising several items/sellers, but Pocket Edward locked eyes on one item in particular. I told him he'd have to wait until Christmas. Then he saw me logging on to my PayPal account and thought Christmas was coming early.

You see, ever since Pocket Edward saw the papz pics of Stan's mini-E and Chimpsten (here) at the airport, he has been reminding me about how lonely he is.  Here is what he wants to hump get:

Seriously, though, head on over to Twitarded and read about how you can support Alex's Lemonade Stand (the real reason I was logging on to my PayPal account).

Body Language

I'm no expert, but Rob and Kristen's body language speaks to me, and it's not saying, "We're just good friends." Makes me smile, too :)  (Click to enlarge.)

Want to live vicariously?

I did, which is what set in motion the recent post over at Twitarded. Through one of their earlier posts, I found out that a fellow Twitard had received the ultimate gift from her mother in honor of her 40th birthday — a trip to Italy to visit the book and filming locations for New Moon!!

Visit Twitarded for the complete story and a link to the pictures http://twitarded.blogspot.com/2009/11/sorta-spoiler-alert-fellow-twitard.html.  Don't forget to post a comment once you get there :)

London Calling

Rob looks SO happy, Kristen looks beautiful, Taylor looks like the third wheel (note Kristen is always leaning in toward Rob), and Chris looks, appropriately, like the circus leader.

The Host?

Love, love, love his smile!

Hobolicious

The girl is mine.

The doggone girl is mine.

Werewolf and humans and vamp, oh my!

The Slow-Mo Walk

I enjoyed this interview with Chuck the Movie Guy.

Take two (and call me in the morning) . . .

because you're going to need all day to enjoy round two of Vanity Fair's outtakes! (Click to enlarge.)

In the immortal (no pun intended) words of Etta James . . .

At last
My love has come along
My lonely days are over
And life is like a song

Oh, yeah, at last
The skies above are blue
My heart was wrapped up in clovers
The night I looked at you
I found a dream that I could speak to
A dream that I can call my own
I found a thrill to rest my cheek to
A thrill that I have never known

Oh, yeah when you smile, you smile
Oh, and then the spell was cast
And here we are in heaven
For you are mine
At last

More video goodness.
