Dick in a Box

Rob is absolutely adorkable trying to answer the question, but I SO didn't see the answer coming. LOL! (You may want to cover your ears, though, Mrs. P!)

Just in case you were wondering what Kristen's answer was:

Since we're talking stockings and mistletoe, I finally got my Christmas tree put up over the weekend. I love it, naturally, right down (or would that be up?) to the collector's cup tree topper. (Classy, right?!) Do you have a Twi-themed tree you'd like to share, email me at lisa1721@gmail.com.

The movie cover version of New Moon
came compliments of Iloveboyswhosparkle.

As you can see, I haven't been able to take down
my Team Edward craft pumpkin yet (see story here ).
It took too long to make not to enjoy it some more.

I also put up the twilight keychain
I got from Iloveboyswhosparkle.

And what home isn't complete without
a deer, a duck, and a dog?

I've even gotten a few cards and gifts already!

This was sent to me, with much love,
by Mrs. P at TwiBite! Thanks, Margaret!

And this came from itsjustme at Robmusement.
It appears in her new video. I asked where I could
find the picture that showed up at the 57 second mark,
and the next thing I knew it was signed, sealed, and
delivered just in time for the holidays. Thanks, Jeanette!

Seriously. Could he be any more beautiful?!!

Jeanette also sent me this beautiful Christmas card.
She has lots more. Check them out here.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas.
 CHEERS!

@Mrs. P - I knew you'd appreciate his answer :) And there's no way I could get my shit together enough to schedule my posts. And, thanks. My husband is a carpenter (and obviously a hunter) and built our home 25 years ago. It's in a beautiful wooded subdivision up on a hill overlooking the Mississippi River. It was a great place to raise the kids. Catch you in the morning!

Ok, I'm here with the iron switched on, my son's school trousers on my lap, time is ticking and I'm snorting at your tree topper! It's fantastic! I plan a Twi-themed tree, just as soon as I can persuade Mr Stan to get his lazy arse into the attic and get it out *tut*.

xx

Your tree is gorgeous! So cool that you took the time to make a Twinspired tree and share it with us. Your totes welcome for the card. I'll be sending one every Thurs till Christmas along with a Robmasy post.

I loved that second photo of your tree, the one with lights on and the pumpking glowing. I will watch the videos when I get home.

I will not have Twilight themed tree. Everyone still rolls eyes at me whenever I even bring it up.

Sprtzmom, I love your tree! You are very creative. As for Rob's answer to the stocking of truth, I just don't understand. I think maybe he was confused by the question, cause there is just no other possible explanation. None. Whatsoever.

I love your Twilight tree. The collector's cup on top is my favorite of all. My daughter was giggling at it too, and of course wants one for herself. Question. Is this an extra tree in your home, or is it the only tree and Mr. Sprtzdad is tolerant of the whole Twilight thing?

Love the Twilight tree and I find it completely amusing that you still have your Edward pumpkin up too. Merry Christmas!!!

@Stan - Can’t wait to see your Twi-themed tree!!

@robmusement - “Robmasy” - love it! Totes borrowing that phrase, girlie!

@Batina - I’m glad you liked the post and the tree. You’re the only one to comment on my Jacob ornament, which I thought was the funniest part about the whole thing. My mom was getting rid of extra Christmas bulbs and I thought there were four until I got home and opened the box. I had planned on writing the book titles on them. There’s always next year :)

@Jelena - I have watched that video several times now, and each time I focus on something different: his voice, his facial expressions (priceless!), his hands/fingers, etc. *sigh* As you know, my family was over on Sunday for my daughter’s birthday and I’m sure most of them left rolling their eyes, but they humor me for the most part in person. LOL! Life’s too short . . .

@Twilove1 - Laughed out loud at your comment. I even had to share it with a co-worker.

@Inspiration/Anonymous/Melissa - LOL! For the rest of you followers, Melissa is THE Melissa who talked me into starting a blog in the first place. (Everyone say, “Thank you, Melissa!”) Mrs. P, you’d like Melissa, too. She’s 5’ nothing, adorable, and funny as hell. I told her way back when that she should join me in writing on this blog, but she’s been admiring it from afar. One of these days!!

@Z Any Mouse - I’m glad Taylor got a kick out of the tree “topper.” I had a gold star that I usually use that would have worked. I even thought about using a Burger King crown. But the cup with the light shining through won out. And, yes, it is the only tree in our house. Sprtzdad is EXTREMELY tolerant. I think he’s just happy that I’m in a Robsessed haze that’s making me act like I’m 17 again. It definitely has it’s upside ;)

@HGfTT - My EXTREMELY tolerant husband is the one that actually suggested I leave the pumpkin out. He still can’t believe how well it turned out, nor can I. Merry Christmas to you, too, although I hope we talk more before then ;)

@Mrs. P - I haven’t forgotten about your post, but I ran out of time on my lunch break. I promise to get back over there when I get home in a couple of hours!

@Sprtzmom - Yes, a tolerant husband is definitely a plus! Mine is still trying to figure out what kind of pumpkin you used so he can make Carved Edward Pumpkin Attempt #2. I'm just glad no more live pumpkins will be hurt. I'm not sure how far his Twi-tolerance extends, but I'll let you know when I find out. I intend to keep pushing like a giddy teen until I know exactly where that line is.

@Twilove1 - A friend/co-worker of mine picked it up for me at a local craft store (Hobby Lobby or Michael's; can't remember which one). It's a foam pumpkin. Very lightweight. The same friend/co-worker also let me borrow her pumpkin-carving kit. Just a basic kit you can find anywhere (at Halloween time, anyway). Here's the link to the free online template I used: (Edward). When you get to the website, scroll down to the picture of the carving, click on it to launch the pdf file, and then save it to your computer for when your husband is ready to tackle the project. Good luck and keep me posted if he ends up doing it!

TwiloveSue said...

@Sprtzmom - You really did do an awesome job on that pumpkin! I gave the info to my hubby and I'll let you know how it goes. Right now he's busy downloading some kind of a Twilight app to my new phone. He's definitely a keeper.

TwiloveSue said...

@Sprtzmom - Hello, I'm back again. I just read over on Twibite about all the bad weather you're having. Hopefully you won't get too much snow (that's the cold, white stuff I've seen on TV, right?) or lose power. Hang in there!

What a beautiful Twi-tree!! I feel so bad now, I haven't even put mine up yet! But you've given me some great inspiration, so maybe I will now...Rob was so adorable in that clip...I love his expressions, I could watch him 24/7. Well, I almost do!!

17foreverlisa said...

@spellbound - Glad you stopped by and you liked the tree. Promise to email me a picture of your Twi-inspired tree when you get it put up!

And the Adorkable Rob vid? Priceless.

@Twilove1 - I completely forgot to ask you which Twilight app your husband was loading to your phone. I have the Twilight board game and Twilight Scene It! DVD game apps, the complete movie, both soundtracks, all of the New Moon trailers, and some podcasts loaded on my iTouch. Love it!

TwiloveSue said...

@Sprtzmom - Seriously, you have all that stuff loaded on your phone?!? I just got it yesterday and it won't be activated until next week while we wait for our old contract to close out. So far it seems waaaay too complicated and may take me that long just to figure out how to even make a phonecall. The only reason I agreed to a new phone was the lure of having the internet (blogs! fanfic! Rob videos!) at my fingertips 24/7 to lust after you know who in peace without anyone looking over my shoulder.

17foreverlisa said...

@Twilove1 - No :) I have an iPod Touch. I have U.S. Cellular, and they don't offer the iPhone. I bought the iPod touch in October during a United Way charity auction at my work. I wanted it. Had to have it. For the sole purpose of having access to all things Rob :) I forgot to mention in my previous comment that the only photos I have on there are of him and my screensaver is my sprtzmom1721 Twilight baseball avi. I have yet to be able to log on to the internet through it, though. I haven't been anywhere with guest wi-fi services, yet. But (prayers being said/fingers being crossed) I think it will come in handy if/when we go on my son's spring training baseball trip in March.

You'll have to let me know how you like your phone and what Twilight app you have.

Lisa
