It's Been a Very Bloggy Christmas

I've been MIA from my blog for a few days, but after the wedding was the honeymoon, and then Mrs. P and I each gave birth, so things have been a little hectic.

He did just fine. Thanks for asking.
Family photos to follow on a later post.

Thank you to all of my new bloggy friends for the Christmas wishes. Looking forward to more Robsanity in 2010!

The first of my four Robmasy Christmas cards
from Jeanette at Robmusement.

Stan's Jingle Balls story was a definite highlight!
(Stop by the neighborhood at Twi-sted Edbrella.
Stan tends to the sheep,
Twi-Weasel bags the wild game,
and Mary makes a mean brandy sauce.)

Loved this one posted at Tigerlily's Tirade.
And you have to check out today's post here!

Oops! How did that get in here?
(Thanks again, Mox, for posting this one.
It shouldn't be hot, but it just is.)

My holiday screensaver by CSI-Kat from

Honolulu Girl at True Blood Twilight thoughtfully wished
us a Merry Christmas with a little RPattz Delight.

Mama Cougar at The Cougar's Den gave us
The 12 Days of Twismas, which included
12 drummers strumming (and a PFach yum bum).

Jelena from Confessions of a Twiholic knows I'm
Team Edward. She didn't ask me to choose
because she's knows it's him.
It's always been him.

rpattzgirl at For the love of RPattz won my heart a long time ago because every time I go to her site, I get to hear Rob singing when her MixPod launches. She also shares my love of all things to do with Rob's upcoming movie Remember Me and has the trailer firmly planted at the top of her site.
It's truly the gift that keeps on giving.

My bloggy friends Twilove1, F-Kat, and Z Any Mouse
wished me a Merry Christmas from sunny SoCal.
So wish I could have been there since
I played matchmaker for them.

Z Any Mouse gifted her new Twi-Friends
with these awesome candles.

And last, but not least, I received the perfect card
this year from my friend/co-worker Melissa –
the one that talked me into starting this blog.
Since I'm now "down with the kids,"
I can say that I puffy heart her BIG time!

She even wrote this on the envelope:

Have a very Robmasy Christmas
and BE SAFE!

Beautifully tasteful and gorgeous Christmas post. It is sad, though, to see the "Making of Mrs.P" fall down one notch. I shall revisit it everyday.

Have a Merry Merry Christmas,love.

@Mrs. P - I think that's why I was having trouble doing a new post. Roberta! You are just like JJ coming up with something instantly. I'm more like STY and will need time to think about it and get back to you.

@Melissa (aka Anon 2:10) - Your lion and lamb are the the cutest kids on the block. They get that from you. Safe travels, my friend. See you on Tuesday :)

@mmMoxie - Thanks! Same to you!!

@Dangrdafne - You, too! And thanks again for sharing the pictures of your trip to Italy with us over at Twitarded. It was great getting to live vicariously through you. Now promise me you are going to see New Moon again over the holidays and relive your trip on screen!!

@All - Heading to my in-laws for Christmas where they (gasp!) don't have internet access. Probably a good thing. I'd be too tempted.

Merry Christmas!

Lisa

My eyes are swollen (I shit you not! I need an eye lift) from catching up on EP. Why is that fucking mafia story so goddamn sad in each chapter? I feel like shit and had to make coffee to wake up. Jesus, it’s Christmas Eve!! Ok, I’m only on freaking chp. 23 and I see that damn shit goes on to like 60 freaking something. I’m going back to reading.
again, I wanted to wish you all a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

Merry Christmas to everyone, and best wishes for an awesome day with family and friends. Thanks again Lisa for the joy and laughter your blog brings me every day, and for setting up our little SoCal group. Twilove gifted us with an Edward pen, bookmark, and a super cute cupcake tree ornament. I love these new friends! Cheers!!

Beautiful post, Lisa. Merry Christmas to you my wonderful friend. I am still blown away buy your gift to me, and I used it straight away.

Have a wonderful day.

It's the day after Christmas and I'm riding high because my beautiful, wonderful, fantastic daughter gave me the Robert Pattinson calendar I was dying for, along with a cute little RPattz book (about 2"x2")! Squee.

Mommy Any Mouse came for Xmas and the three of us girls enjoyed Nutcracker Suite Edward together. LOL!

TwiloveSue said...

@Z Any Mouse - I'm so glad you got the calendar! I can't wait to stare at mine all day, everyday at work. Merry Christmas and I'm looking forward to seeing you again soon!

@Lisa - I feel so honored to be included in your post & thanks again for your twi-matchmaking! I hope you had a wonderful Christmas.

@Honolulu Girl - I absolutely love Emancipation Proclamation too! If anyone is looking for a new story to obsess over, this is a great one.

OMG, Lisa, that's a fucking awesome trailer. I'm just seeing it for the first time on your blog. I love it. It gave me goosebumps, I can't wait to see it. Rob is hot as hell, much hotter than I thought he would be. I love movies about dysfunctional people, as I have been one for the most part of my life. And, I didn't know it was another Summit movie. Interesting. Do they, like, own Rob now, fuckers?

NibbleitPattinsonakaNebilet said...

LOL@Jelly baby-Summit owning Rob hehe.
Actually I just rent him to them pmsl I wish.

I got the calendar a while ago from a friend and I kept the annual I was supposed to give as a present lol, got a mug and a bad vamps bookmark but no other Rob stuff, people in my family just don't understand my neeeeeddddssssssssss. Worst present a can of fucking antifreeze, I kid you not. Ok it was a bloody big one (WA-HEY) but it was still only a can of antifreeze. The snow has gone now fucker, it's not even relevant. I dunno the older you get sometimes the presents just get more shit. LMFAO, its funny, in a way.
Right we're going to Hell now, shopping, ugh, Hell is a mall (merry hill-I call it Hell-I used to work there...I KNOW)Kids wanna spend their grubby Xmas money in the sales, hubtard wants walking boots (WTF-I ain't joining in, God made me a car)I'm going to look at shoes-hehehe.
Catch you later, out most of tomorrow I think, hubster not back at work till Wednesday, I keep sneaking on though xxx

@Z Any Mouse – Great gifts from Twilove1! I know F-Kat was your the host for the day, welcoming you into her home, etc. Very cool! Also very cool are the gifts your daughter gave you for Christmas!! I’m sure she was just as excited giving them to you. And where did she find a little 2”x2” book of Rob?! Sounds just right for tucking into my purse!

That’s too funny that Mommy Any Mouse watched Nutcracker Suite Edward with you and your daughter!! Did you scroll down through the rest of the post with them? My husband has come in my office a couple of times with the pic of the dog with the jingle balls on my screen and he just shakes his head. LOL!

@Jelena @ Twiholic – I’m so glad you liked the blog button. You know I luv ya, girl! And I cannot believe that’s the first time you’ve seen the Remember Me trailer!!!! Weren’t they showing it before New Moon?! I swear I’m just as excited to watch the trailer on the big screen as I am to see New Moon every time I go back. The pacing of the music is perfect, too.

Yes, it is a Summit movie. Although, Rob has been named as an Executive Producer on it, which is awesome. Since he signed on to do the Twilight Saga before anyone knew how marketable he would become, this is a good way for him to get a bigger cut of the profit.

This movie is going to be the death of me. Rob looking like Rob??!! Now if only they would have let him and Pierce Brosnan keep their English accents. I don’t understand why we feel the need to Americanize actors all of the time. Obviously, Rob and thousands of other Brits are transplanted here. It wouldn’t be a stretch to have them portrayed in stories that take place in the States. Just don’t get it.

@Nibbleit – LOL about the antifreeze and the “God made me a car” comments!! I didn’t get as much Rob stuff as I had thought I would, either. Of course, I think that most of my friends and family think I already have everything, or think I’ve gone off the deep end and don’t need any more. I did get New Moon paper plates, napkins, and a CafePress ornament from friends/co-workers, the New Moon Edward fleece blanket from my oldest niece and her husband (he’s so pretty!), and a movie gift card which counts, right?!

Zanymouse said...

@17foreverlisa - No, I didn't show Mommy Any Mouse the jingle balls dog, only because my daughter was standing right there. After I sent her out of the room, I skipped over to Twitarded and showed Mommy AM the famous Pattinson panties (she died laughing) and one of OPattz' dance videos. Then we went to Twisted Edbrella and she saw Mini-E at the Christmas party. Daughter Mouse got to see that one too, but when I was searching for things I had her turn around and stare at the wall! There would be some major explaining to do if she saw some of those presents people were giving each other, such as the almost naked Santas that Mary posted on Edbrella, tee hee.

I'm pretty sure my daughter found the little book at Borders, because that's where she got my too hot to handle calendar. The funny thing is my mom brought the same little book from 'Santa' and gave it to my daughter and me together. We opened it together and cracked up when we saw it, then my daughter shouts "Yay! I have my own now, and we don't have to share him!!" Did I tell you how much I love her?! Puffy hearts, baby girl~

@Lisa - I'm so glad you got the Edward fleece blanket! My sister bought me one and it's soooooo soft and gorgeous! That's actually the only Twilighty thing I received on Christmas, which was kind of disappointing. However, My birthday is next week and I accidentally saw on online banking that my husband bought something at Hot Topic, so I have my fingers crossed. I think he must be playing mind games with me. Did you get a chance to watch the HTB extras yet?

@Jelena - I think you owe it to yourself to watch the Remember Me trailer over and over and over to catch up with the rest of us. (Lisa- I love having it up at the top of your blog!)

17foreverlisa said...

@Z Any Mouse - That is SO awesome that your mom was willing to sit down and look at the blogs with you and actually laugh about it!! And how funny that your daughter AND Santa were "on the same page" with the little books. I totally want one now! And you can never say enough how much you love your kids :)

@Twilove1 - I have the Twilight fleece with Edward and Bella on it that I keep at work, but this New Moon one with just Edward is stunning and staying right here. It's hard to believe they can get that much detail on it. And your husband was shopping at Hot Topic? My husband wouldn't even know who/what/where that was. LOL!! Lucky you! So when is your birthday?

@Jelena - Twilove1 has given you some good advice :) Although, if it means cutting into your writing time for The Canvas, then just watch it a couple of times and keep writing! LOL!

Hi Lisa Love your site here.

17foreverlisa said...

@qcchevyman - Thanks for driving by. Stop in again soon :) Love you!

17foreverlisa said...

@Living with Edward - LOL! If you haven't stopped by Twi-Sted Edbrella before, you have to. Those girls across the pond are a riot. Jingle Balls was a short Christmas story written by Stan/Gemma for the "regulars," but it's a fun, quick, read. Hope to see you here again, and I'm looking forward to visiting yours again!

TwiloveSue said...

@Lisa - My sister got me the Edward blanket with his beautiful face and the writing on the bottom starts with "What choice have I?" It's so soft and wonderful and I can't stop staring at it. Yeah, imaginging my husband roaming around Hot Topic is a pretty funny visual. My 18 year old daughter was probably with him, if she wasn't too mortified. So how is your son feeling these days? Is he over the worst of his mono or has he turned into a wearwolf? I hope he's doing lots better!

TwiloveSue said...

@Lisa- I forgot to tell you that I broke down and saw NM again tonight... yes, I know it's a sickness. Maybe this will positively influence my dreams tonight so I can come up with something good to send to Mrs P for her bloggy analysis.

Nessa Lomiva said...

@Lisa - you mean in theaters? No, they didn't show the trailer before New Moon. They showed Avatar.

I will definitely watch it more than once. Chapter 5 is coming along slowly, but it won't be updated before January, because I simply won't have time to write. We celebrate Christmas on January 7th.
