This Heart's for You

Anyone else as exhausted as I am?? What an amazing week for Rob fans. We went from a Rob Drought to a Rob Flood. I said a couple of days ago that there was a leak and that the dam was going to break soon, but even I could not have predicted the force with which the water would flow.

Lucky for me, Jeanette at RobMusement has recapped every heartstopping event better than I ever could have in her Best of Week post. Click here to relive it all! She also celebrated her 200th post this week with a flower-themed PicSpam. Click here to see all of the beautiful Robart created especially for this post.

So since Jeanette did all of my work for me and then some, that just leaves me to wish everyone a Happy Valentine's Day. I hope you get to do something special with your SO. I am beyond excited about my day because my husband has agreed to go and see New Moon with me at the discount theater. He really does love me : )

Hi Lisa,

I wasn't in the Valentine's mood until your post. So sweet! Thank you!
How lovely of your hubby to come with you to NM. Mr. TC will refuse until I get the blu-ray and he has no choice. The hearts are great too. I used the generator to make some for my kids as a surprise tomorrow.
Just finished my cupcake posts. Gosh those things seem to take forever to make and post! I will be working on Olympics ones too and, yes, I have kept the wh*les down to a minimum ;) Is it all sealife?
Exhausted for sure from Rob overload and mostly Olympics.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Lisa - This post makes me wanna hug you and kiss you and make you mine. ;-)

Or maybe I'm just in a sugar coma from the combo of seeing Dear John yesterday and eating too many coversation hearts.

XOXOXOXO

MC

That Rob hug video is awesome! I love people who give GOOD hugs. I hate half hugs/handshakes. Your hubby is a keeper! I can't believe how many times you've watched New Moon. Twilight is still the better movie, in my opinion. :) Happy Valentine's Day Lisa!

I think I love your Mr Lisa too! Mine won't even come in the room if I have T on & as for coming to the movies to see "that vampire shit"-no way! It's probably not a bad thing coz I tend to make Homer Simpson donut noises when Rob is on the screen (especially when he plays the piano in T). Sadly, only got to see NM once on the big screen. Happy belated Valentines day & Rob's hug vid is fantastic Needless to say, wish it was me...

Awe, soooo sweet! Happy late Valentine's Day! Hubby scored points with New Moon. That hug is a long one! I'll take 10 of them!

@All – Well, let me just start by saying that I did NOT get to New Moon with the hubby. But it’s okay. Our daughter called late in the morning and said that she had laundry to do and wanted to know what we were up to. We don’t get to see her as often as we would like so, of course, we said nothing and told her to bring her laundry and come on out. (She lives in an apartment building.) My husband fried fresh fish that he had caught the day before and we had a late lunch/early supper. She stayed until around 6 pm and got caught up on her laundry; I shared all of the glorious Rob “Details” with her, etc., so all was not lost.

I love my kids more than anything and when my husband and I got engaged 30 years ago on Valentine’s Day (no lie!), we both knew that’s what we wanted most out of life . . . a family . . . so it was a fitting way to spend our day. I was even good and stayed away from the internet for the most part and watched the Olympics with him in the living. Too many nights, I’m in my office and he’s in the living room and we’re doing our own thing.
@twilightcupcake – So how did your kids like their candy hearts?! I am behind on posts, but I promise to get caught up. Wh*les (thank you for the spelling change!) are my biggest phobia but it has carried over to all sea life at this point, I’m sorry to say. But don’t worry about me. I will read your posts with one hand over my eyes and my fingers spread apart just a little until I’m sure it’s safe. LOL!
@Twilove1 – Thanks! FFFOOORRRKKKSSS!!!
@Mama Cougar – I’m all yours on March 20th, baby!

@Z Any Mouse – I never would have thought people would think of me as cute/sweet given my mind in the gutter sense of humor, but since my blog is viewed by family members from time to time, I know why the tone of my posts get that. So are you still floating from the 100 Monkeys concert?? You have to send me some pictures.

@Dangrdafne – I know!! Who knew when I started this silly hobby that it would lead me to 100 followers? I wish I could pinpoint who the 100th follower is/was, but I can’t. It must have been someone without a profile pic, because that’s what I was watching for. Darn!

@Twired Jen – ROBSTEN…woot woot! I’m still in shock from caving and viewing the Eclipse stills. Why oh why did they have to show us THE scene first?! I’m actually pissed. Leave the sacred moments for the movies, Summit. Of course, as you said, it’s like a car wreck. You know you shouldn’t look, but you can’t look away either.

@TwitardedMom – I hope you get this message. I know that RL is kicking you in the ass right now and that you are putting your blog on hiatus. I’m sorry but completely understand your need to reprioritize! I’m glad you stopped by, and I hope to see you again if you sneak a peek one day. If not, I will see you on sparkpeople.com!

@mmMoxie - I “Heart” you big time, too, Mox! Thanks for giving me VD…wishes…LOL!

@MissAmyJoon – Amy, my darling girl, I enjoyed talking with you via DM and email last night. So proud of the choices you are making in your life. After almost 30 years of marriage, I guess I’ve decided to keep my hubby after all. And, yes, when all is said and done, I get more enjoyment out of Twilight than New Moon. The lightness of it, the music that was integral to the movie, the first kiss scene, etc. It will forever have a special place in my heart, as will you.

@Stacked Like Sookie – I keep forgetting to as. Are you really stacked like Sookie? Talk to me, girlie. LOL! And I’m laughing even harder about your Homer Simpson analogy. I can’t imagine only seeing New Moon once, but then again, I only saw Twilight once at the movies and look where it got me?! I’m glad you liked the hug video. He was just too darn cute in that, wasn’t he?

@rottymama – Thanks! The hubby still scored points with me by putting our daughter first. He was totally willing to go to the movie with me, but we are, first and foremost, parents. We settled for a really long hug after she left ;)

Well, I'm not THAT stacked! Don't have a set like Nibbles! LOL! I only called myself that to keep sweet with the old man coz he's totally obsessed with my boobs & he thinks this blogging business is complete bullshit. I was going to call myself "wannaRob/Alexthreesome" but didn't think that would go down too well with him! LOL! Was actually thinking of changing it to SookieinForks" coz I live in a small town the same size as Forks & logging is a major industry here & "Stacked" sounds so vain! Wotcha rekon? My toes still curling at the Rob hug vid...
That's a beautiful valentine's story. I hate that "romantic" love is seen as the "be all & end all", family & friends doesn't get enough credit! Sorry rant over....
