New Moon Review Part 2 - Likes

I'm going to do this David Letterman style.  Here are the Top Ten reasons I liked New Moon.  (Drum roll, please.)

#10 – Humans: Billy Burke, Michael Welch, Anna Kendrick

#9 – Italy Fight Scene

#8 – Taycob’s transformation: mentally and physically

#7 – October/November/December Scene: the desolation on Kristen’s face and in her voice while narrating the emails to Alice

#6 – Sound Effects/Moaning: school parking lot – Robward moans and says, “Bella, your birth is definitely something to celebrate”; birthday kiss – she moans, he moans, I moan; the reunion kiss in Italy (guess that was me moaning again)

#5 – Robward taking off his shirt and stepping into the sunlight: the defining moment *goosebumps*

#4 – Melissa Rosenberg and Chris Weitz: for staying true to Stephanie's vision

#3 – Kristen Stewart and Catherine Hardwicke: without them, no Robert Pattinson

#2 – Robert Pattinson: without him, there would be nothing else

AND THE #1 REASON I LIKED NEW MOON?

#1 – Real and Virtual Friends/Family: without you, the adventure would not have been as sweet

The humans rocked...I totally agree. Taycob's transformation was very well done. #3?? Well..OK..I guess I'll agree as far as the whole fact that they cast him...but that's all I'm gonna give on that one...

#1---***hugs**** I love you too babe!!!!

I'll confess that I just saw NM tonight for the 5th time. Yes, I'm starting to feel like a freak, but I keep going with different family members and friends who haven't seen it yet and how could I refuse them?

I think #11 on your list should be the Remember Me trailer cause that movie promises to be all kinds of wonderful.

I love NM just as much as Twilight, but in a different way, kind of how you love your kids. The whole look and feel was different, but fabulous, and I really enjoyed the humor. Edward (or should I say Rob? They've sort of morphed into one awsome jawsome entity for me) is still my hero. Your reviews are spot on.

@Mrs. P - #1: Can I just say how much I've missed you?! Like I posted on your blog, you are totally not allowed to travel for Christmas!!! When I was thinking about my Top 10 list, I knew that I had to give a shout out to Kristen Stewart and Catherine Hardwicke because I truly believe that without them, my Robsessed world would not exist. They were the ones that knew there was chemistry between Rob and Kristen. They were the ones that agreed it had to be Rob. They were the ones that ultimately rocked my world. Hard!

@Twilove1 – You are tied with me now at five screenings. I am going tomorrow afternoon for my sixth :) And #11 would definitely have to be the Remember Me trailer. Hell, it could totally "Eclipse" #1 considering how much I love it.

Great take on loving NM vs. Twilight like you love your kids. And, yes. To me there is no Edward, only Robward.

@Sprtzmom - Your #1 is my #1 too. Everything else has become secondary!

@Z Any Mouse - It's definitely more enjoyable have people to talk to who "get it."

By the way, peeps, I just got back from seeing New Moon for the sixth time. A girl at work had to attend a company conference and couldn't go with us on opening weekend. I was so glad she called and asked me if I wanted to go with her to see it for her first time :) One more pic to add to my New Moon Midnight Showings post :)

@sprtzmom - You are so cute taking a picture each time you go! I'm so jealous you saw my movie again and I'm working to find someone to go with me for my 6th viewing. Pretty soon I'll have to stop admitting how many times I've seen it. I really think you should move to Southern California!

@Twilove1 - Everyone that's gone with me to see New Moon has been a good sport about getting their picture taken (and since starting this blog, I've allowed more picture taking/sharing of myself than I have in the last 20 years!) I'm getting to be on a first-name basis with a lot of the theater staff. LOL! Actually, our neighbor's son is one of the managers at the theater, so I get to go for free except for on opening weekends. So I only had to pay for the first three (two full price and one matinee price). I'm a lucky girl!

@Twilove1 - Just remembered that I didn't comment on your offer for me to move to Southern California. Z Any Mouse lives there, too, and didn't you meet up with FKat for New Moon? If Twitarded Con 2010 falls through, maybe I'll have to head west for Eclipse :)

@Sprtzmom - Cool idea! If TwitardedCon 2010 doesn't happen or is too far away, maybe we can pull off a west coast thing. New Moon for free? I'm so jealous.

@Z Any Mouse - Where in Southern California do you live? I live in Rancho Bernardo (near San Diego) and F-Kat lives in Temecula. We had a great time meeting for New Moon and I'm dying to meet more Twitards!
